Entrepreneurial Mindset Profile

The Entrepreneurial Mindset Profile® (EMP) is a cutting-edge tool to assess your mindset and help you unlock your entrepreneurial potential.
The Entrepreneurial Mindset Profile EMP was developed at Eckerd Collage, Florida in 2010 by Mark Davis (professor of Psychology), Jennifer Hall (clinical Phycologist) and Pam Mayer (Coach and Trainer for leadership development). While creating leadership training Pam discovered there were no tools available to measure entrepreneurial strengths. Together they created the EMP Profile.
There are two sections to the EMP, the Personality, the who and why and the Skills the what and how.
There are 14 scales that are assessed
Skills Scales
Future Focus, Idea Generation, Execution, Self-Confidence, Optimism, Persistence, Interpersonal Sensitivity
Personality Scales
Independence, Preference for Limited Structure, Nonconformity, Risk Acceptance, Action Orientation, Passion and Need to Achieve.
The EMP can be used to leverage existing strengths or enhance skills sets to unlock your potential. It is a tool to help to develop skills and mindset.

1.5 hour session where we look through your answers and go into detail about the different scales

Meet Jayde
Hi, I'm Jayde a photographer and graphic designer based in Esperance WA. I first heard of the EMP in 2020 when it was included in the COVID recovery program, offered by the Small Business Development Corporation. I applied for the program and I was successful. The program included multiple business coaching sessions and online group activities. The EMP was used as a tool to measure your strengths as an entrepreneur. I loved learning about my entrepreneurial strengths and after completing the program I went on to study the EMP and became a practitioner in February 2021. EMP is a cutting-edge tool to assess your mindset and help you unlock your entrepreneurial potential.
I found that understanding myself after completing the EMP helped me to focus on my strengths as an entrepreneur. It also gave me clarity and helped with my business decision making.
